The Ladies Vets kicked started the weekend on Friday night with a 5-1 win against YMCA. Sinead Lenihan scored a hat-trick with Eran Bailey on the double also.

On Saturday, the Mens 2nds had another comprehensive win, this time recording 7 against Navan with none conceded. Cian Brennan scored three, Simon Anglin on a brace with Caleb Brock and Sam Collier also scoring. The Ladies 1sts had a high-paced fixture against Three Rock in Division 2. After a tight 1-0 win over the visitors the week before in the IHT, it was set to be a fast-paced and feisty affair. Three Rock took a 2-0 lead initially but Ruth McDonagh converted a short corner to tighten the gap. Whilst Bray maintained the pressure, they were unable to find the net to equalise and now have some work to do to maintain their Division status for next season.

The Ladies 2nds secured pole position in Division 4 with less than a handful of matches to play with a hotly contested 2-1 win over Old Alex. Claire Prendergast scored both. The Ladies 4ths secured promotion to Division 10 with a super 7-0 win over a depleted Trinity squad who arrived with just 9 players. Clara O'Shea with a hat-trick, Jenny Hughes, Morgan Barnwell, Tola Adebisis and Laura Stewart also on the scorecard. The Ladies 3rds followed the 4ths with promotion to Division 8 for the next season with a 5-0 win over Botanic 3rds in a physical affair. Schoolgirl Ali Kavanagh scored three, with Alison Dawson and Helen Kingston also on the mark. Unfortunately, the Ladies 5ths fell foul to a cancellation yet again this week. The Mens 1sts closed out the day with a 0-3 lost against YMCA.

On Sunday, a depleted ladies 3rds boosted by recruits from the Ladies 4ths and 5ths hosted Monkstown 6ths in the league. The visitors took a 0-1 lead against Bray in a rare opportunity against a very attacking Bray side. A regroup at half-time saw the Bray Ladies come out fighting with Emily Wray securing the equaliser early into the second half. Goals from Samantha Speidle and a brace from Hannah Houlden secured a 4-1 win and keeps the Ladies 3rds in contention for the league title.

Congrats to the Ladies 3rds and 4ths players and coaching teams on securing promotion already this season. A lot done, a lot more to do!
