BHC Summer Skills Camp

July 20, 2018

Bray Hockey Club are holding a Summer Skills Camp on the Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th August.

Bray Hockey Club would like to welcome all playing abilities from beginners to more advanced players.

Bray Hockey Club is a relatively young club in Leinster. We played our first league (Senior Leinster ladies) match in October 1993. Founded by parents/local school hockey coaches and fielded by local teenagers, we developed quickly as a local not-for profit club and our first venture with Junior hockey resulted in an All-Ireland win.

We believe that if players enjoy hockey, are keen to learn and are put in contact with enthusiastic coaches, then they will improve at a rapid pace.

We will ensure children learn in a safe environment where they will have a lot of fun, meet new friends and go home better players.

Stephen Stewart who is a very experienced coach with a tremendous love for the game. Stephen has played at the highest level representing Pembroke Wanders Hockey Club in Europe, and has won 4 All Ireland Medals and 7 Leinster Division One medals.

Stephen is currently completing his level two coaching badge and the weekend he has designed is based around decision making, game management, resilience, finishing and club development for players.
