The Ladies Vets started the weekend off in style last Friday with a comprehensive 7-0 win against Genesis. Michelle Lambert knocking away just the FOUR goals, a brace for Libby Bredin and Janet O'Beirne for seventh heaven.

On Saturday the Ladies 1sts welcomed Avoca 2nds to Bray. Megan Shelley opened the scoring with a neatly converted corner. Emer O'Reilly extended the lead against the visitors in the second half with a sweetly taken strike off the left foot and Claire Prendergast netted from a crazy angle for the third. However, Avoca didn't give up and pinched one back closing out the game 3-1 to Bray and an important three points to keep them in the top 3 of the 3rd Division.

The Ladies 2nds had a fast paced meet against the Trinity students, with the visitors taking the lead initially only for Samantha Speidel to steal one back bringing it all level going towards full-time, unfortunately Trinity took the win with a penalty corner conversion and went home with 3 points.

Both the Ladies 3rds and 5ths were on the road to Naas and Enniscorthy respectively. The 3rds were beaten 3-0 by a strong Naas side and the 5ths lost just 0-1 to their Wexford based opposition. The 4ths closed out the day with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Clontarf. Youngster Caroline Bell scored two, with Nuala McGann and Jen Ryan sealing the deal.

On the Mens side both the Mens 1sts and 2nds played Clontarf with all teams taking a point away each after 1-1 draws in both fixtures. Brothers Sean and Adam Brennan on the mark for their respective sides.

This week is a busy week with re-fixes taking place most of the mid-week evenings as well as a busy roster on Saturday. Get out and support, cheer on the club and bring the coffee.
