The Ladies 1sts travelled to Wesley to play YMCA on Saturday last. The girls started strong and took and early lead in the first quarter with a tidy solo finish from schoolgirl Saoirse Guilfoyle. Vicky Coen provided two assists for Ruth McDonagh to finish twice from the back post giving the visitors a 3-0 lead in the first quarter. The second quarter proved to be more difficult as YM setlled into the game, pulling one back before half time. Another two fast paced quarters followed with YM pulling another back but with Anna Byrne scoring twice on her debut to the 1sts and Megan Shelley also scoring. Final score was 6-2 to Bray.
The Ladies 2nds played Avoca in Newpark, starting strong with a 2-0 lead, they finished up 2-1 winners in the end. Lottie Willis and Alison Dawson with the goals.
The Mens 1sts were also in action last Saturday, away to Pembroke. A tight match ending 2-3 to the home side. Sean Brennan and David Nuzum on the mark for Bray.
Fixtures for the coming week are as follows; notably the Mens 1sts begin their competitive season this Sunday in the Neville Davin Cup, so it would be great to get as many supporters out to cheer them on;
