Our mission is to provide a safe environment for young players of all abilities to play, develop, compete and enjoy the sport of hockey, for as long as possible.
Membership 2026/27 Season - NOW OPEN FOR EXISTING MEMBERS
Memberships for the Junior Girls 2026/2027 season is now open for existing members. For any new memberships we are operating a waiting list and will advise availability per group by early August 2026. If you would like your daughter to be added to the list please forward her full name, date of birth, class as of September 2026 and school name to Michelle (girls) at
juniors@brayhockeyclub.ie. This includes family members of existing members.
Membership for the Junior Boys section is OPEN and we welcome all boys aged 5-16 years. Please send all inquires for the boys section for the attention of John to

ClubZap
We use the ClubZap mobile app for all club and individual team communications, registration and club events.
Please search for ClubZap on the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once you have installed the app, please register yourself, as a parent, with your own date of birth (DO NOT ENTER YOUR CHILDS DOB OR NAME).You can then add your child to your profile in the relevant chat group for the age group in question.
All training and match communications will be sent through ClubZap so it is mandatory that you use it.
Age Groups 26/27 Season
Junior players are grouped according to their school class or year groups rather than their age.
This is in line with the LHA structures.

U8 Girls (Junior Infants, Senior Infants, 1st Class & 2nd Class) - 10:30 - 11:30

Please ensure you arrive at least 10 minutes before the training begins.
Please ensure your child has a mouth guard, shin pads and stick for every training session and match
Please note training slots may change, match fixtures will be at different times and different venues so it is your responsibility to check where you should be on a weekly basis by checking and responding to the notifications in your relevant Clubzap group.
Please also note that if you get a fixture (match) notification (not training) and you do not respond we presume your child is not attending and they may not be allocated to the squad to play = so please do not just turn up and expect them to get match time.
Hockey Ireland Membership Registration/ Renewal and ME number
Further to the directive from our National Governing Body Hockey Ireland, ALL players – senior and junior - must have a Hockey Ireland membership number and hold a paid HI membership. Participation in hockey activities in Ireland is prohibited without these.

Please complete all information to include uploading any coaching, umpiring and other relevant certificates, adding a photo (Senior members only), Emergency Contact details, etc.
When registering your child with Bray Hockey Club please enter the Hockey Ireland ID in their profile.

Code of Conduct
Junior Registration
Any member (regardless of age) who is currently in school pays the junior rate.
Under 18 membership applications must be completed by a parent/guardian and must include the relevant waivers.
Parents/Guardians are reminded of Hockey Ireland's child welfare policies including guidelines on overplay.
Junior fees must be paid in full by the 1st September (unless payment is made by recurring payment).
According to the rules of the Leinster Hockey Association players must be 15 years old or more to play competitive senior Hockey.

Terms & Conditions
Failure to adhere to your agreed subscription payment schedule may affect your ability to participate in club activities, including but not limited to training and games.
By becoming a member of Bray Hockey Club, you agree to adhere to Bray Hockey Club's Code of Conduct, Child Protection Policies and the IHA's Code of ethics & other relevant policies.
Please understand that we are a voluntary administration team and membership fees are non-refundable.
